I belong to a career Navy family that moved us around our great country. After high school I attended Hallmark Institute of Photography in Turners Falls, MA, and graduated in 1984.
After moving to Virginia in 1985 I started freelancing for newspapers and working as a photo assistant for a Time Life contract photographer. I later obtained a staff position at the Daily Press in Newport News, Virginia, in 1990. After four years I moved to Nevada for staff position at the Las Vegas Review-Journal and worked there for 17 years.

I specialize in editorial publication photography with use of the latest Canon, Nikon cameras and Mac computers for remote transmission.
I also photograph annual reports, architecture, industrial plants, weddings and models.
